The base plates were fixed to the concrete bridge deck with bolts embedded in epoxy resin.

The Kee-Klamp fittings were secured with Allen screwa. The metal has been primed with epoxy self-etch primer.

The sluice bridge is an ideal site for watching the many birds that frequent Buck Pool, including kingfisher and heron.
