Working with English

This section of our learning zone concentrates on using bird-related material to learn and practise a number of different English language communication skills.

The basic skills can be broken down into the following areas:

  • Speaking, listening and understanding
  • Reading and writing
  • Communicating everyday experiences, thoughts and opinions

The teacher can use this background material in many different ways to produce a variety of lessons to teach different aspects of communicating in English.
